TYPES OF JOB IN IRELAND
In Ireland there is a wide range of jobs on offer and the country offers a great opportunity for EU citizens to work in a different country and to improve their knowledge about different languages and cultures. The main Job categories are:
- Jobs in hotels: depending on the Job organizational skills, foreign languages and the ability to deal with people from different countries
- Secretarial / Admin / Clerical: special skills are necessary for some of them
- Accountancy / Finance / Banking: requires similar qualifications as in the UK and other countries
- Management: certain qualifications in the particular business and leading abilities necessary
- Sales: qualifications are not always necessary but an advantage
- Restaurants / Bars: good communication skills required, work experience not necessarily required
