Internal Training
In terms of Induction and Training all Fund Accountants will participate in a 3 1/2 week training programme. During this period you will cover areas such as an industry overview, Fund Accounting Training and Systems training. Investment in Training and Development is of extreme importance to Investors trust and is complimented by our Tuition Reimbursement programme for those who wish to further their studies.

Recommends, establishes and reviews procedures and process improvements. Indirectly responsible for the department’s budget. Responsible for day-to-day operations of the fund groups by managing the workflow. Make recommendations for hiring/ firing of personnel. Responsible for performance management and handling employee relations issues. May have 1-3 Fund Accounting Supervisors as direct reports. May have 2-15 indirect reports. Maintains strong client relations; managers are the first point of contact for clients.
Fund Accounting Manager – Job Description
* Plans, schedules, and manages the daily workflow of one or more client relationships
* Ensures timely and accurate results for each of the funds within each relationship.
* Maintains positive relationships with clients.
* Oversees the effective coordination of area activities with other departments.
* Ensures all personnel are appropriately selected, thoroughly trained and given timely and complete performance evaluation feedback.
* Make recommendations for changes to operational procedures.
* Assists in developing targets concerning staffing, production, overtime budgeting and productivity.
* Ensures retention of existing business and generated new business.
* Remains informed of regulatory changes and new industry and competitors developments and ideas.
* Other special projects or tasks as assigned
